Hi:

Below is the link to the Crucial, Italia memory report for your notebook.

https://it.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-ac613nl

Only DDR3L memory is supported.

I recommend this kit...Crucial 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR3L-1600 SODIMM

CT2KIT102464BF160B

DDR4 memory won't fit in the memory slot because it has a different number of contact pins and the notch is cut in a different place to prevent the installation of unsupported memory.

Thank you so much!
And.. Now i have one bank with 4 GB, could I install another bank with 8GB (12 total) or is better if the 2 banks have the same capacity?

You're very welcome.

You can add an 8 GB chip to the 4 GB chip, and have 12 GB.

However, with that configuration, the memory runs in the lower performing single channel mode like it is now with one empty memory slot.

By installing memory in matching capacities, (2 x 4 GB or 2 x 8 GB), the memory runs in the better performing dual channel mode.
