I'm getting different information for that model.
One source indicates it comes with an Intel Pentium N3710 processor and another source indicates it comes with an Intel Core I3-5005U processor.
What processor does your notebook come with?
If it has the Intel Pentium N3710 processor, it has one memory slot and the maximum memory the slot can support is 1 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory
If it has the Intel Core I3-5005U processor, it has two memory slots and the maximum memory supported would be 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.
Below is the link to the service manual:
HP 15 Laptop PC (Intel)HP 15g Laptop PCHP 15q Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide
If your notebook still has the original 2.5" mechanical hard drive, I recommend you replace it with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).

Thank you so much! This has been very helpful. I am not well-informed about laptops and computers, but I noticed it is labeled as i3. I will visit an electronics store to see what they can offer. This information has been really useful.
