Hello to everyone,
I want to upgrade the nvme m2 and I would like to know if my laptop supports pcie 4.0 or 3.0. Does somebody knows how can I find it? Thank you in advance.

Hi:
Your notebook's M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.
A Gen 4 SSD will work but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3 SSD slot.
The table shows the maximum transfer speeds for each PCIe slot generation:

You can look up the PCIe specs for AMD and Intel notebook PC's by looking up the processor specs on the applicable AMD or Intel websites, since the processors are integral parts of the motherboard.

PCIe gen 4 is backward compatible therefore you can install PCIe Gen 4 to your machine but it won't run at PCIe Gen 4 speed, only PCIe Gen 3
