Hi,
Yes, it is compatible. You can insert any 2.5" SATA3 SSD of your desired capacity. So, HP s700 will work.
On page 59 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04438537
you will need to install the OS on the SSD either by using recovery drives, migrating an image or performing clean install wit media you can download from Microsoft
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Hope it helps,
David

Your welcome @AsKnownAs
The SSD should give a great boost to the system.
You can not upgrade the Graphics "card" as it is integrated on the motherboard (soldered) together with the graphics subsystem.
You can upgrade the RAM to max 16GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz (2x8GB) even if service manual mentions 12GB.
I believe at the moment you have 12GB (1x8GB and 1x4GB). So you could replace the 4GB module with an 8GB module. You can buy RAM from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...
On page 42 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM
As I said above the SSD will be the more noticeable upgrade.
All the best,
David

Hi,
I believe that is the best you are going to get. Did you perform a clean install of Windows 10? In my opinion, a "fresh" start is always the best option.
Anyway, how is it running compared to before? The SSD should be giving a good boost to the system.

David
