Product: HP G72 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

A friend has an old HP  G72  Notebook PC that he would like to upgrade the HDD to SSD. The operating system is Windows 7 home premium.    Will a ssd with a std 2.5 inch form factor  fit the laptop ?  Tks

Yes it will fit.

 

A  256gb  or  512gb  would be fine.

 

Can you get the exact model number of the laptop???

 

Maybe a CPU or Memory upgrade???

The model number is HP  G 72 - 227wm .  I think something low cost like  a Kingston A400 250 Gb would be sufficient for his needs.
