I have the 250GB Samsung SSD installed and was wondering if I can replace it with a larger drive, and how. So I watched some videos and I found this enormously helpful link and various 1TB hard drives on Amazon, including this 1TB hard drive from Samsung for half the price of the 512GB drive at the HP store.
I am not here to complain about prices, maybe the 512GB drive is less troublesome for the machine and comes with its own warranty, IDK. However, I would like to know if the laptop performance or Windows 11 OS will suffer, or if there are any other issues.
I have Dropbox, and Google Drive (with about 200GB of local files), and Carbonite backup software running, too.
Any comments will be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello @CharlesRK .
You can place a PCIe Nvme, Gen3×4 SSD up to 2TB, however, my recommendation always before purchasing a SSD is to compare the read and write speed with some other you have looked at about the same price, with this you can choose the best one for better performance, also the SSD you have indicated if it is compatible for your equipment.
