I would like to ask is it better to upgrade the HDD 1tb 7200 rpm for an SSD as SATA 3 or to place a second NVMe ssd on the open slot? I have read somewhere that the second slot is being used as SATA 3 and it doesnt support high speeds as the NVMe would like to give.
Is there a possibility to just add a second NVMe storage and to have all of these 3 to function normally? *meaning the main NVMe ssd the 2nd NVMe ssd and the already placed HDD 1 tb 7200 rpm. Thanks in advance for any answer

Looks like your machine already has M.2 drive + 2.5" drive. It is up to you with your money to burn. I would not put a lot of data/files to one machine therefore with me 256GB M.2 SSD + 1TB 2.5" HDD option is more than enough.
Regards.
