HP Pavilion - 15-cs0051cl

I have been using an HP Pavilion laptop 15-cs0xxx since 2019. It is getting slower day by day even after formatting and freshly installing Windows OS system. I am using Windows 11 Home. My laptop already has 8 gb Ram installed. I like to add 8 gb RAM. I found one that matches the part number on the maintenance and service guide. Here is the link for the RAM. Can I just add another 8 gb RAM to make it 16 gb RAM?

The Maintenance and Service Guild shows only 125 gb SATA SSD is compatible with my HP Pavilion laptop 15-cs0xxx. Am I right on this? If I am wrong, what is the largest SATA SSD I can install on my Laptop? Thank you.

If you want to keep the Intel Optane memory, replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD because the notebook only has one M.2 slot which is occupied by the Optane memory.

I recommend this model drive for your notebook:

If you are not familiar with setting up Intel Optane, see these links for how to configure the Intel Optane to work with the SATA drive:

Yes, that memory chip should work fine along with the existing one.

If you are wanting to install a M.2 SATA SSD and not replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive, you can go with a 1 TB one if you want.

Amazon.com: Western Digital 1TB WD Blue SA510 SATA Internal Solid State Drive SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s,...

The drive capacities listed in the manual are just what HP offered, not the maximum capacity supported.

The manual also indicates that M.2 NVMe SSD's are supported, but I think the manual is incorrect based on this discussion:

I like to replace the existing mechanical hard drive with a compatible solid-state drive. Currently M.2 slot has Intel Octane Memory 16 GB installed. I like to keep this if this does not cause a conflict with the new solid-state drive.

Could you tell me which internal solid-state hard drives are compatible with my laptop (HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs0xxx)? Thank you.
