Processor is integrated with the motherboard. You've to change whole board which is very very expensive part and job to do.

You cannot upgrade processor in your notebook like any of the recent consumer notebooks in the market from various brands.

Your notebook came with Intel Pentium processor:
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04946336

RAM: only 1 slot is present in your machine, currently housing 4gb stick,
Max 8gb possible.

Go through page 1: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04653884

Get the exact configuration, voltage, speed as given in Manual.

You can also upgrade hard drive to 2.5 inch SATA solid state drive, which will be a major boot and performance boost compared to all other upgrades

Is it impossible to upgrade the processor, or would it be possible if I hired a professional to upgrade it for me?
