Product: Pavilion 15t-eg000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have downloaded the Win 10-64 ISO from Microsoft and have a few questions regarding the clean install upgrade process.

 

Will the new SSD be automatically detected by the BIOS?  I'm sure I will need to adjust the Boot Order to USB first. 

 

Back in the "old days" we would need to have a Windows Product Key we would enter during Windows setup, is this still required and where do I find my Product Key?

 

Am I missing anything else?

If your notebook has one of the new Intel 11th gen core processors, please review the instructions at the link below.

The W10 product key is in your notebook's BIOS, so no key is required to install W10.
