Here's the Service Manual:

 

Manual

 

It says 12 gigs (8 + 4) is the max (see page 3). We know, however, it will take 16 gigs (2 x 8 gig) Your specs say you have 4 gigs. I would just install another 4 gig and bring it to 8. That will be clearly the best bang for the buck.
