Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi I would like to upgrade my RAM and would like to know if that is possible. I believe I have a 8 GB Ram installed and that there is an spare Ram slot. Can I purchase an 8GB DDR3 SDRAM-1600 and install it.

Will the system accept it and will I have to make any configurations.

Supports a maximum of 16 gb of ram.

The ram memory can be of any brand but it must be: (PC3L, 12800, 1600-MHZ)

Dual Channel Support

 

Compatible RAM memory:

4 GB 691740-005

8 GB 693374-005

 

You do not have to make configurations

 

You can get the piece you want from:

Ordering HP Certified Replacement Parts

HP Authorized Parts Resellers US and Canada

HP authorized parts partners Latin America and the Caribbean

HP authorized parts partners (Europe, Middle East and Africa)
