I had to find a screwdriver small enough to open the back. Those things are tiny.
It took 10 minutes to remove the 12 screws and 20 minutes to remove the plastic backing. I was afraid of breaking it.
I got additional instruction from a youtube video posted by a guy from India.
I got 8Gb RAM from Amazon. It was a few dollars cheaper and I have free shipping.
The installation was pain free but afer replacing it, my CD drawer does not open. I removed the back again and reset the drawer. I lined up the holes for the screw and retightened it and it still does not work. I'll let it go for now. I bet I have not used it in 6 months. It won't be long before CD drawers are as obsolete as 8 track players.
I am just happy to have the new RAM installed and being able to see that it is visibly faster.
