Unfortunately, according to the model series' specifications, the memory is onboard (an integral part of the motherboard) and cannot be upgraded.

Not according to the specs.
You'd have to replace the system board to one that comes with 16 GB of memory and that would cost more than buying one of the models in the series that comes with 16 GB of memory on the motherboard.
I don't know what exact model number your notebook is because the product number you posted is for the entire model series and there are many individual product numbers listed as you can see from the link below:
I randomly selected the product number for one of the models sold in the USA (17-CP2035CL) and as you can see from the parts list for that product number, the motherboard comes with 8 GB of system memory.
There is no individual memory module part number, which means the memory is not removable.

You're very welcome.
Yes, there is.
Run the Windows system information app and post the product number that you see on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.
Then I will see if I can find the exact model number of your notebook.

Pretty lucky guess on my part.
That confirms you cannot upgrade the memory in your notebook.
Here's the link to the product specs:
Notice the 8GB OnBoard RAM spec.
Anytime you see a PC that states the memory is 'onboard' that means the memory is an integral part of the motherboard.
Below is the link to the service manual for the model series. Chapter 1 indicates the memory is not upgradable.
Memory Soldered on board, not customer-accessible or upgradeable
