Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

Hello. I have an old laptop which I am thinking of upgrading (DIY project) since it still looks very fresh and runs slow but without a hitch, although I haven't used it for like 10 years. I want to:

1. Upgrade the RAM to 2gig.

2. Upgrade the processor to a faster model (highest possible).

3. Install eGPU with Express card.

Can you please recommend compatible upgrades? Thanks.
