Hi everyone,
I have PAVILION LAPTOP 15-CS0XXX, and wondering if it's possible to upgrade my laptop M.2 and RAM,
Here is my current laptop configuration:
Operation system: Windows 10 pro (64 bit)
Laptop model: Hp pavilion 15-cs0xxx
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U
GPU: GeForce MX130
RAM: DDR4 8 GB 2400 MHz (4 GB x 2)
M.2 slot is currently equipped with Intel Optane 16 GB, and I want to replace it with (Samsung 970 EVO 500 GB - NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD),
notice here that the Optane M.2 hastwo cutouts, as shown below
while Samsung M.2 has one cutout, as shown below
And I also want to upgrade the RAMs to 16 GB 2666 MHz (8 GB x 2).
will I face any problems by using these parts.
Best Regards,
Hassan

1. M.2 SSD: You have to disable Optane before you can upgrade to M.2 SSD. Sumsung 970 EVO series is known as compatible on Optane slot. The following tutorial may help
https://drtechnno.com/2018/06/13/tutorial-how-to-upgrade-intel-optane-memory-to-m-2-ssd/
2. RAM: 2666MHz RAM will probably run at 2400MHz. Are they cheaper ? If not why ?
Regards.
