Welcome to our HP Community forum!
According to the manual (see p. 6), your HP 255 G8 Notebook PC IDS Base Model (1W9Z3AV), depending if it is fitted with a Ryzen 3/5/7 processor with two RAM slots, can be upgraded with up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks, or if your laptop if fitted with an Athlon/Silver processor, you'll have one RAM slot, which can be fitted with one 16 GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM stick.
Kind Regards,

Ohh ohk it make sense now i have opened it i found out that it's only have 1 slot meaning, if i want to upgrade the ram i have to buy the totla amount of 8gb ram or 16gb ram. If it has to slots i was going to buy 8gb ram and make it 12gb ram
Regarding to ssd which one is good one 128gb ,256gb or 528gb cuz my pc storage is 1TB standard storage?
