Hi,

Your PC supports 8GB of DDR4 2400Mhz

There are two slots, so you can add an extra 4GB stick in the empty slot You can buy RAM from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...

Example:

http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for//hp-255-g6

On age 43 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM:

Hope it helps,

David

hey,  I'm having the same doubts about upgrading ram in my HP 255 G6 and I wanted to know if you bought an entire new 8gb or just installed 4gb into a seperate slot? After reading the manual I'm not sure if adding another 4 gb into seperate slot is going to work.
