Looking into upgrading the ram on my notebook computer; model: 14-dk1032wm.

I've looked online and found two different responses. First, crucial website states ram is upgradeable to 32GB and board has 2 memory slots. Second, I've seen posts stating ram is soldiered to the board and that my computer can't further have a ram upgrade.

Wanting to know if anyone has upgraded this model of notebook when it comes to the ram so I can know if I were to purchase so dimm ram modules, that I could upgrade my ram?

Hi:

The product specs for your notebook indicate that it comes with 4 GB of memory.

HP Laptop 14-dk1032wm Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

If the memory was not removable, there would have been an (Onboard) note after the memory spec.

If you look at chapter 5 of the maintenance and service guide, there is a procedure for removing and replacing the memory.

HP 14-dk1000 Laptop PC series Manuals | HP® Customer Support

The 'Memory is non-customer accessible/non-upgradeable' statement means that HP wants any upgrades to be performed by an authorized service center, not that the memory not upgradable.
