Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am planning to put a 500gb m.2 nvme ssd in my laptop, and remove the extisting 2TB hard drive which came along with the laptop.

Can i just leave away the HDD slot blank or i have to put something dummy in that place?

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 2 TB 5400 rpm SATA installed on the PC.

To get the answer to this question, you can leave the slot blank it's not going to cause any issues.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
