I have a HP 250 G5 laptop with 256GB SSD and 8 GB RAM.
1. I want to upgrade to a new SSD of 1TB , like WD Blue SA510. Is this laptop support 1TB of SSD? I could not find anywhere this information
2. Also I want to add another 8GB of RAM. I think this is possible since I have one slot free. (I think thsi laptop supports up do 32GB although the specs say max 16GB, no?
Thanks

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05078579
1. You can upgrade to 1TB or 2TB 2.5" SATA SSD. WD Blue SA510 is fine.
2. Depending on its processor, please use Memory section on the above link to work out how much RAM you can upgrade.
Or you can use the following way to work out
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
From here, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
Regards.

But where do you see in the specs, that 1TB, or 2TB is supported?
That is a standard for nearly all notebooks now. You can upgrade to 4TB but some drives won't physically fit.
