I have a hp laptop with windows 12, Ryzen 5 with AMD Radeon graphics. It was purchased around 2 years ago. 2 days back, I think some some rainwater went inside one of the USB ports. It is not working and the laptop is continuously giving notifications and clicking sounds. It shows an error message saying the last USB device connected malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it. When the laptop is turned on, it makes the noise of a USB connecting and disconnecting even though there is nothing connected to either USB port. I tried to disable that USB port from the device manager but it also disabled the bluetooth so I had to enable it again. A local service provider opened the laptop and said that it might be a short circuit inside but there is no rust inside.
Could you tell what has happened to the laptop and what should I do in such a case? Also tell me the prices of whatever repair you suggest.
