15-bs028nf

Hello,

Quick question answered many times for other cases, but I really want to be sure, and I don't want to destroy anything.

I moved back to my home and I want to charge a HP laptop (15-bs028nf) but I forgot its charger : 45W 19,5A  2,31A.

Instead I have my HP 15-ax246nf's adapter which is 150W 19,5V 7,7A.

Can I charge the 15-bs028nf laptop with the 150W adapter ? It's not my laptop so, again, I don't want to destroy it.

Will it damage the battery ?

In theory, the laptop will only draw the power it needs but I really want to be sure.

Thank you so much for your answer !

Hello

yes, what is important is the voltage : 19,5V and the connector.

the WATT means the maximum power such adapter could provide , if notebook need maximum 45W , the 150W PS will provide no more that 45W

bye
