Solved!

Used Forum aswr to install HP Notebook Bios update, but Sup. Assist does not recognize

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Notebook BIOS update failed in Support Assistant.  Found solution on Forum, which installed successfully.  Support Assistant is still reporting that the update needs to be installed after rebooting to complete the bios update installation.  Why can't Support Assistant recognize the update completed and is it an issue to delete the update note in SA and show it as not installed?

HPSA can be buggy at times. I would dismiss the alert about BIOS.

the message displaying the Bios update eventually disappeared.
