Thanks paul tikkane I have 1 more question I have elitbook 850 g1 laptop I see m.2 sata ssd slot so adding m.2 sata ssd can increase its speed and how much speed is increse as compared to simple (ssd)

You're very welcome.

There would be absolutely no difference in performance between a 2.5" SATA SSD and a M.2 SATA SSD of the same brand and model.

It's just that the form factor of the drive is different.

Now if the M.2 slot supported NVMe SSD's (which it doesn't), that would be a different story, since NVMe SSD's are considerably faster than SATA SSDs.

Wich one is better m.2 oor 2.5

It doesn't matter like I wrote before.

It is totally a personal choice.

The only advantage of having a M.2 SATA SSD might be that it is a few grams lighter than a 2.5" SSD.

Hi:

I don't believe that would be possible,

Your PC can only support a direct charge via the supported power adapter.
