I can see already multiple threads on this issue. I have a 2019 HP Envy X360 and I'm very disappointed by the choice of backlit color as it makes it literally impossible to recognize characters at certain angles. See the photos I'm attaching. My daughter has the 14" version and the same issue persist there. My wife has a black keyboard where everything is crisp and clear. Does the HP RD department even consider testing their products? On one of the questions asked by another fellow, the HP Support Agent replied with a tutorial of how to use the backlit on a laptop which is totally off-topic. Why the backlit is not a color that is in contrast with the color layout? Red or Blue? WHy greyish white? I'm still within my return window so I might take it back to BB this week.

@Dimenum Welcome to HP Community!
I understand your concerns.
Not all HP laptops will have a backlit color option. Only high-end products like Omen laptops and gaming laptops will have the option.
However, We will take this as feedback and update it to the concerned team.
