This is the service manual for 15-fa2000 model series.
Maintenance and Service Guide Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC Model number: 15-fa2xxx
The motherboard illustration on page 39 shows one M.2 SSD drive and no empty M.2 slot is seen, so your model has one M.2 slot.
Your model supports M.2 NVMe gen 4 SSDs.
Basically, M.2 NVMe drives have no capacity limit. You can upgrade the NVMe SSD to a 1 TB, 2TB or more.
