Hello,
I own an HP Victus 15-fb0000 (598U8AV), Serial: Edited. Just 10–12 days after the warranty expired, the bottom of the screen frame began bulging, and upon inspection, it appears to be due to a hinge issue.
I have always handled the device with care, and I’ve found many reports of similar issues with this Victus model and others, which suggests a design defect.
I contacted HP Support via phone and requested a goodwill repair, but was told it’s not possible — even though other users have received goodwill repairs in nearly identical situations.
I’m disappointed that such a common and known hardware issue isn't being acknowledged or supported.
Can someone from the HP team or community help escalate this properly? I’d appreciate an official review of my case.
Thank you.
