Want to replace HDD with SSD on a HP 15-ac157cl- what is compatible? Can I use a Samsung 860 EVO?

The 2.5" Samsung Evo 860 should work just fine.

 

You may want to look at this one too...500 GB offers the best performance for the price, IMHO.
