Yes, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports both NVMe and SATA SSDs.
Here is the link to the parts list which has the motherboard part number and description:
Here is a link to an eBay listing for that motherboard part number:
M03667-601 GPP53 LA-H32AP HP Athlon Silver 3050U 2.30GHz Motherboard | eBay
If you enlarge the photo, you can see the M.2 SSD slot on the left side of the picture between those two white connectors that are at a right angle to each other.
Below is the link to a service teardown video I found online for a different model in the 15-gw0000 model series:

I sincerely hope that I have already thanked you? I don't get notified in my **bleep** for some reason and am fighting with Lenovo over several issues on a brand new 30 days old tomorrow waste of $890. After the way their sales reps and their warranty and insurance (I paid extra for) repair tech's treat customers I will never buy another Lenovo. The videos was great for letting me know to pay to have the keyboard replaced. I can't wait for the new SSD to come so I can get started.
Thanks again
