I had purchased my laptop from an offline store on 05-11-2021 but it got expired on 01-08-2022; in less than a year.

 

I had followed the instructions on HP website to dispute my warranty, but when I checked there was no link provided for the WARRANTY DISPUTE FORM.

So, I request you to please correct my warranty date as soon as possible.

Have you seen this HP web document? I tested it with my own HP Spectre notebook serial number and there is an active warranty dispute form link.

Yes!

I had already checked the same link you provided; but there is no DISPUTE WARRANTY LINK in my case!

At the end it just shows 

"HP has checked your product information, including the product and serial numbers, to determine your warranty results."

and at the top it says WARRANTY EXPIRED!

 

Please help me!

I have exactly the same problem. There is no "dispute this" link when i enter my product serial number. My product is not a commercial product, i am using it for my personal use.

It could be because the member made the post in the community three monts after the factory warranty would have ended.

Hi @Erico ,

 

I understand that the system removes "Dispute this" link after expiry of factory warranty. But what is the point?  when there is still warranty according to the retail purchase date, customer is left helpless. As per the portal my laptop's warranty has already expired on 27-10-2022. I have proof of purchase (retail invoice with purchase date: 30-11-2022) with me according to which, the warranty is still valid till 30-11-2022. 

 

There is clearly a discrepancy in factory warranty and retail purchase warranty. So how could customers submit the dispute, if they still have chance to claim warranty. I think the system should enable customers to submit warranty dispute form atleast for an year even after expiration of factory warranty. So that all customers who genuinely forgot to register their product, can get complete 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. 

 

Also it would be great if you could provide me solution, to submit the "warranty dispute form". Since the product warranty is expired, i could not find any phone assist online. I wasted hours searching for phone number to speak with HP customer support person. Please message me the phone number / email address for immediate solution.

If the warranty dispute document does not work, then contacting HP through one of the suport options  would be the best thing to do.
