HP Recommended

I’ve seen this happen before with HP devices purchased online. Usually what’s going on is that the warranty is automatically calculated from the laptop’s manufacturing/shipping date instead of your actual purchase date. That’s why when you check online, it sometimes looks like the warranty already started or even expired.

What you can do is raise a warranty validation request with HP. You’ll need to provide proof of purchase (your Flipkart invoice that shows the date you ordered). Once HP verifies it, they’ll adjust the warranty period to match your purchase date instead of the manufacturing date. You can usually submit this through HP Support’s official warranty validation page or by contacting HP customer support directly.

If you haven’t already, I’d suggest registering your product on HP’s support site and then opening a case with your invoice attached. That way they can correct the warranty date and you’ll get the full coverage you’re entitled to.
