HP Pavilion 15-cc593nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm planning to buy a new HP Pavilion 15-cc593nd notebook.

The only thing that is very disappointing is the very small 128GB SSD M.2 hard disk drive where windows would be installed.
Now I want to upgrade it to a 500GB SSD M.2 version immediately after purchase.

But will the warranty expire when I upgrade or change the hard drive or RAM memory within the warranty period of 2 years?

From older topics, I have seen that in most cases it does not expire, but since they are already a few years old I want to have 100% confidence.

Thanks for your reply!

The official word we have is that upgrading RAM or hard drive will not void the warranty except HP will not cover any damage you do in the process, any problems with the rest of the hardware caused by the upgrade or the upgrade parts themselves (which seems fair since HP did not sell them to you).

So be careful but you are free to upgrade.

Okay thanks!

The upgrade will definitely work, I regularly build game computers so I know how to handle the components 😉
