Can you look in device manager and see if the webcam shows up under imaging devices? Also you might try to install zoom and use its camera and mike tester just to get another take on whether the webcam is working and if it shows up in Zoom's list of available cameras. Does the camera light come on when you try to use it with the webcam app?

Huffer asked you to you use Zoom's camera tester, unclear if you did that. Did the problem start with Windows 11 update? HP lists no Windows 11 drivers for your laptop.

If it shows up without any kind of error signal in device manager as the webcam then a driver is loaded. Very possibly not a good driver if there is no Windows 11 driver. Can you give us the Device or Hardware ID of the webcam? Here is a tutorial on how to find that.

If we have the Hardware ID we might be able to find you a better driver from the web cam maker, for example. If that does not work then I would say the webcam has gone bad, which unfortunately happens but it would be under warranty, correct?

I did find that there is a firmware update available.

I doubt its your problem but you should try and see if the computer can do the update on your webcam. Its a security update so necessary to do.
I have not found any driver update for Windows 11....only Windows 10 drivers, which honestly should work.

Did it work when you had Windows 10 installed? We asked before, but didn't get a reply. If so it may work. If it doesn't then the only thing I can suggest is replace the camera, which means taking the screen apart. We can help with that if you want to do it yourself.
