Hi, I own an HP Pavilion - 14-bk101nl, since I bought it the PC used to suffer a problem: The fan used to run at the maximum speed anytime and it was loud, thinking that it was a normal behavior (different from my older Asus Ultrabook that was super silent and used to turn on the fan only under a massive workload) I ignored the thing, until now, because the fan started to have a wird noise like if there is something inside (I used my computer only in my house on my clean desk). So what do I have to do? Should I buy a compressed air to try to clean the PC from the outside? Should I open it? My PC is under the coverage warranty for another year, so I'd like to not invalidate it.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand, your notebook cooling fan is making a loud and weird sound,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
When was the last time it worked fine?
Were there any hardware/software changes?
Let's try these steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/ee-en/document/c01007591
Updating your Notebook computer BIOS
Keeping notebook air vents clear and clean
Increasing the efficiency of the notebook to reduce heat
Using Windows Task Manager to identify corrupt processes
Selecting power save settings to shut off your computer when it is not in use
Let me know how that pans out
I hope you have a good day ahead,
And Feel free to ask any other queries as well,
Considering, this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.

Hi, thank You for the help.
The last time that the computer didn't make the weid sound I think that was more than a month ago, but the behavior of keeping the fan always on even if the cpu was cool enough always been there.
I tried to update the bios, reset wintows etc but with no results, the only thing that I never tried is to clean the fan but I prefer to keep my warranty, so I called the Hp supporto and they said that today will pickup che computer and in 15 days my computer will be fixed/cleaned/anything it needs
