I want to upgrade the CPU on my Notebook - 15 -db0521sa but can't fathom what might be a suitable product. Current CPU has 2 cores but I want at least 4. I'm running W10 as W11 won't install. Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Hi:
Your notebook's processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.
If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2.
You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.

You're very welcome.
I installed W11 on a HP 255 G7, which is the business equivalent of the 15-db0xxx model series, and it works fine.
Mine has the weaker AMD A4-9125 processor but it has 8 GB of memory and a M.2 SATA solid state drive.
