See p. 6 of the Manual here:
256-GB, M2, PCIe-2×2 solid-state drive
256-GB, 2260.M2, PCIe-2×2 solid-state drive for use on all computer models 803381-001
It is a 2260 form factor which is a little out of the ordinary and makes it a bit hard to find.
Here is one on eBay:

I'm a little confused on what M.2 is compatible with the G2? I also wanted to install a boot drive into this slot but thought you needed a B+M key. M.2 drive. That's the type of slot I have on my G2 Elitebook. I didn't know you could use a B key M.2 drive in this notebook too. I was searching high and low for a M.2 B+M key 2260 drive to put in this laptop and couldn't find anything. Sorry for the ignorance. I usually work on older hardware. Thanks.
