Enter your PC's product number in the search window at the link below and it will give you the part number and description of the power adapter your notebook uses.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

Once you have the HP power adapter part number, I recommend you do a search on eBay by the power adapter part number and find a used but tested and working genuine HP power adapter.

 

Those normally come with the power cord that goes from the wall socket to the adapter.
