What docking stations will work with a hp pavilion laptop 15-cc5xx?

I have a HP Pavilion laptop 15-cc5xx and am looking for a docking station that will handle 2 HDMI monitors.  Not sure which docking stations will work with this laptop so any recommendations would be helpful.  Thanks.

The USB-C port is not Thunderbolt and does not carry an alt-DP video signal so you will have to use a usb dock with what is called DisplayLink technology. It converts a usb signal to video. So you need a DisplaylInk USB-C or USB 3 dock with dual HDMI.

Yes. DisplayLink turns usb into video. It's not very fast. You can't game on it but it will work OK for things like streaming video. Can't really do 4K; limited to FHD

Are there usb to hdmi converters that have this feature or does it have to be a dock?

Depends on what you call an adapter. It takes some significant electronics to do the conversion so a simple one-wire type converter is not likely to do the trick.

Noted. As far as video quality for a dock goes you think a regular usb 3 dock would be more clear than a usb-c with display link right?

Sorry if the question sounds dumb.. but can I connect 2 HDMI screens? I see only 1 HDMI port in addition to the DVI.

DVI and HDMI are very similar except DVI just doesn't carry audio so for two HDMIs you have to use a DVI to HDMI adapter.

As far as clarity there will not be any real difference between a USB-C DisplayLink and a USB 3 DisplayLink. Given a choice I would take a USB-C as it has a little more bandwidth so theoretically video may not be quite as choppy. You might get a little fade and chop trying to run 2 FHD monitors through a DisplayLink dock.
