i do know it has the slot for m.2 SSD but i am not sure about the interface. I want to make sure first before buying the SSD.
i also want to know if there are any bandwidth limitation for the ssd read and write speed?

Hi:
According to the service manual, the 15-cc1xx model series' M.2 slot supports NVMe SSD's.
See chapter 1.
Solid-state drive:
For use only on computer models with model numbers 15-cc1xx and 15-cc6xx:
● 512-GB, 2280, Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe), Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe)
solid-state drive
● 256-GB, 2280, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive

No specs are given for the slot, so I wouldn't be able to answer your second question.
The crucial memory report for the model series offers two variations of M.2 SSD's with different read/write speeds.

According to the manual that would be fine.
256 GB and 512 GB were just what HP offered in the model series.
Many retail SSD manufacturers sell SSD's in even number sizes..120 GB, 250 GG, & 500 GB, instead of 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB.
