It doesn't matter.
That must be the manual that HP uses for your notebook's model series as well, since it is the only one available.
The Crucial memory report for your notebook's model series indicates that 2 x 32 GB of memory is supported.

You can reduce any doubts about how much memory your notebook can support by running this command:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

That is interesting.
Here is a post where another forum member installed 32 GB of memory in their 16-wf0876no notebook, and it worked just fine.

They were just questioning why the memory only ran at 4800 MHz, for which I provided the reason.

I would definitely agree that at least 2 x 16 GB of memory is supported in your notebook.
I was expecting the Windows command report to tell you that 64 GB of memory was supported.
I don't understand that 16 GB max result at all.
