Ah that's a relief, thanks!
Since i'm going to replace boot drive into the new one (as it's the only SSD slot i have), is there any step by step guide for this scenario?
Thank you!

You're very welcome.
I found this video where someone installed a WD Blue NVMe SSD in a 245 G7...
UPGRADE TO NVME SSD | HP 245 G7 AMD RYZEN 3 3300U | WD BLUE NVME 500 GB
There is the service manual for doing the actual removal and replacement procedure and you can see if your notebook is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store:

You can make the bootable recovery media now before you take the notebook apart to replace the drive.

Hey for example, there's no important stuffies from my old SSD and i basically want to just reset the laptop by changing the SSD
In that case, is it fine if i just change the SSD without creating backups?
If i do that, will my laptop just basically.. factory reset?
Thanks

Yes, if you use the cloud recovery tool, it will make the drive you install like you just bought the notebook and was setting it up for the first time.
Did you make the recovery drive yet?
If you have, you should be good to go.

My SSD hasn't arrived yet
Is it fine if i do the cloud recovery tool you mentioned earlier first? Will my laptop run just fine if i do that?
Also, by you mean "recovery drive" is basically the cloud recovery tool you mentioned earlier right?
