Hi,

The notebook will support max 64GB of DDR4  2666MHz RAM even if service manual states 16GB

Example of RAM

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/pavilion-x360-14-dh1026tx

There are two slots and at the moment you have one 16GB module and one empty slot. So, you could add another 16GB module in the empty slot for a total of 32GB which should be enough.

On page 41 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM

Hope it helps,

David

Hello @Sreejith_P,

according to the Maintenance and Service Guide   page 1 your notebook supports up to 16GB RAM.
To add the RAM follow the instructions on pages 41 to 43.

Thanks for the update. However, as per page 1 of this manual this document is for the older model nos: dh0xxx series only and does not cover later dh10xx series. Do you have the latest maintenance and service guide by any chance please.

Hello @Sreejith_P ,

there is no revised manual at this time. HP only links to this one.  The 1 at that place in the model number only says that it is from the next generation. The replacement instructions are normally the same.
Perhaps a HP Support Agent has more information on this subject. @Echo_Lake do you have additional information? Thanks!

Uli

Thanks. The product information page at https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06433513 says '16 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (1 x 16 GB)'. I thought this would mean 1 slot would have a 16GB RAM and we have another empty slot which we could use to upgrade by another 8 or 16 gb. Please let me if that's case or if the machine would support a maximum of 16 GB only as per the manual.
