In the future I would like to update several things to my laptop and I would like to know how far you can make these updates. (SSD, RAM, ETC)

Your notebook has support for one M.2 NVMe SSD.

HP only has the service manual for the previous generation 15-eg model series.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

The Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook indicates it will support 2 x 32GB of memory and a NVMe SSD up to 4 TB.

Hi:

Your notebook has no support for 2.5" drives as indicated in chapter 1 of the service manual.

M.2 NVMe SSD's only.

If you need more storage, you will have to replace the M.2 SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.
