HP Envy 13-1140ez

Hi!

The AC adapter for my HP Envy 13 has gone missing. I can't find the right replacement on the HP Support website.

Does anybody have one who can share the P/N or help me find a compatible one?

Very much appreciated!

It is very old notebook. I have trick for you, just came, I purchased online Baseus GaN USB-C Charger 65W to powering up my old laptop, it does work. What you need is:

1. USB-C Charger 65W with Power Delivery protocol capability, you can choose any brand, even HP has USB-C PD 65W Charger (I got mine purchased second hand ex Spectre), here is an example, baseus one that I purhased

http://www.baseus.com/product-440.html

2. A USB-C Cable PD 100W (5A)

3. USB-C to DC tip adaptor/converter with PD, in your case you need  4.8*1.7mm size tip, this is one example listed in ebay:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-Type-C-Female-to-4-8x1-7mm-DC-Power-Adapter-Plug-Converter-for-H-P-Lapt...

The order you need to follow:

1. Plug the USB-C Charger to AC outlet

2. Plug cable to USB-Charger and plug DC tip converter to cable (order vice versa), the DC-tip has capability to communicate with the charger to request required voltage, in this case, your notebook needs 19.5V

3. Plug the DC-tip to the notebook and pray 😄
