What is the totalt amount of RAM that can be installed in a HP Pavilion Laptop 15-ck0xx?

Hi,

Max RAM for the notebook is 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz (2x16GB) even if service manual mentions 16GB

There are two slots. You can purchase RAM from your preferred brand.

On page 36 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM

No, not an HP employee, just HP appassionate volunteer in the Community

There are a few ways I know,

I have been here for some time

I have tried on some models

Crucial link guarantees its upgrades and states 32GB

HP DDR4 systems with 7th 8th gen Core CPUs will run with 32GB of RAM.

HP will not recommend RAM upgrades.

Thanks again! Why do you think HP won't recommend upgrading the RAM? 

Also, Crucial states this RAM is compatible with the Pavilion 15-ck000nf model, while I have the Pavilion 15-ck0xx. Is it the same model, but with different names?
