HP Pavilion 17-cd2000 (2P0M4Av).
Good afternoon) Please tell me what kind of cable is needed for the HDD for a laptop?
What connector/connection is needed for the HDD (SATA 2 or SATA3?)?

Hi:
HP only has the service manual for the older 17-Cd1000 model series available.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 17 Laptop PC
According to chapter 3, page 19 of the service manual, you need this 2.5" drive cable part number:
Hard drive connector/cable L56871-001
It would be a SATA 3 cable.
The brackets needed to secure the 2.5" drive are not available as spare parts.

You're very welcome.
Yes, therein lies the problem.
I see two listed on eBay that ship from the UK and they are very expensive.
You may want to consider replacing the NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.
