I'm not talking about gigabytes, but physical sizes. 3.5 inches, 2.5 inches, etc. I'm trying to find the right replacement size for the HP Envy 17 Notebook. I've wasted some money already and now I want to make sure I get the right size. I was looking for a 4 terabyte size replacement for the 2 terabyte one I have currently.

Is uses standard 2.5" HDD's but I don't know what is your HP Envy 17 Notebook because some models use 9.5mm thickness but some models use thinner. Normally 4TB HDD's are thicker (12.5mm), they won't physically fit.
Regards.
