Hi:
Based on the processor specs for your notebook it is a Sandy Bridge processor.
Intel Pentium Processor B960 2M Cache 2.20 GHz Product Specifications
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
The list of supported Sandy Bridge (2nd generation Intel core) processors can be found in chapter 1.
Looks like the best processor you can upgrade to would be the Intel Core i5-2450M processor.
SSD: Your only option would be to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
Look into one of the Crucial MX500 2.5" SATA SSD's.
They usually provide the best performance for the price.
