HP G62-222US Pavilion Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP laptop G62-222US, WQ847UA#ABA (CPU: amd turion P520) and its motherboard went bust.

Rather than replacing with equivalent motherboard (ie same specs) and given there are so many variations of this model,  is it possible to put in a motherboard with better specs and have all the peripherals work?

In other words, same motherboard size, same hardware outputs, same output characteristics, but different motherboard model that supports better CPU and more RAM and has better GPU capabilities?

Are there any motherboards that fit into this laptop that would support i3/i5/i7 or ryzen and support 16GB or more RAM?

Thanks!
